(1,18) Filing Error 15

While Mergeing Database the below error message pops up
(1,293) File may be in use from another Project as Foreign Database

Messages in Command Line are as :
Compacting DB DESSTRUC/STDDESTRU
Size before Compact: 111328 pages 217.44Mbytes
Size after Compact: 32715 pages 63.90Mbytes
(1,18) Filing Error 15 - Cannot open /%STD000%/std12204_0001 database file

after the above message I checked the Project Directory std000 there is an additional file generated as
std12204_0001.cmpct
I cant delete or cut the exisiting std12204_0001 file as its giving a message file in use by other application

I tried Expunge all users, Expunge Claimlist and Data integrity Check for this particular Database.
I confirmed this Db is not as a foreign Db i nany project.

Is there any command to know whether a  Db is part of any other Project as a Foreign Db.

This has already been checked

The above issues has ben resolved

Option1: moved the project from the Network drive to local and carried out the merge and it worked without any issue.

Option2: Even after expunging users from the Admin module, Users are still locked on some of the databse file found by  Microsoft tool by IT administrator from the Server. Expunging them from Microsoft tool  from the network drive helped to resolve the problem

Still not sure what could be the reason for users are not expunged fully from the database file and need a support of the Microsoft Tool.

Sometimes a file gets locked. In such case you may need to take IT help to unlock the file.

what do you mean by compacting MDBs? you can merge databases sessions

Is there somebody who tried to make compacting with a pml function? Is this possible?

What is your aim?

I would like to compact all mdb's from the project at a certain date and hour.
For example I want to set Aveva to start compacting all mdb's o Saturday at 9 am.. Is it possible?

I mean merge database.
