I am setting aside PARA 6 on my components as my bolt length information (BTHK) reference attribute. Typically we use stud bolts. Initially I put the face of the flange and the flange thickness, and that is only what I got out of ISODRAFT. I thought if the BTYP was stud that it would throw in the 2 nut heights but it looks like it does not. Seeing that it does not, is it best to add that information into my PARA 6 data, or add it to the XTRA data so I can be flexible for SBOLs with either machine bolts (1 nut) or stud bolts (2 nuts).
Great. One of the things that was key in your manual was setting the BLTM attribute at the spec level to the string NEW. It's hard to catch that in the manual, at least it was for me. Thanks again.
Do you recommend using a BOLT specification or just adding it to each spec?
