  • Hi,

i got two problems regarding this bolt method in pdms, i wonder if someone came across the same problem too:

    1. Using OLD bolting method, it turns out the Bolt length that appear in the report ( in isometric material list ) is static. It takes its value from SBOL length.
I changed the length value in SBOL and the same value appear in the bolt report. I'm sure this is wrong, but don't have any idea how to solve it
    2. In using NEW bolting method, my bolt MTo doesn't appear at all. In the command line it shows something like this:
    (61:389) Using NEW bolting method
    (42,64)   **** not selected
(61:394) Cannot calculate bolting requirements for joint FLANGE 2....
I've set my pipe spec as it takes for bolting method and pointing it to my separate class of Bolt Spec. But if i change the method to OLD the bolt MTO appear but then again the bolt length value is taken from the Length of SBOL, it seems that PDMS doesn't do the calculating process to determine the Bolt length. Please, someone have ay idea how to solve this????:chief::beer_yum:
