Hello Sylverster :)

I presume you are working with New BOLTING method ;)
Please check if the Detail SET (DTSE) is created for the flanged components.  secondly check the correct DTREF is set for the respective SCOM.
CHECK If the correct BSPEC is assigned for the PIPING SPEC.

Hope this might threw some lime light :D

Hi ,

Please check the attribute (Bthickness) of the BLTP of the Catref of the Spref.
You use the definition FLTH(Flange Thickness) to calculate the thickness of bolt.
You should add the DTREF of the SCOM and the Dkey will be FLTH.

HMMMM,

The first error may be due to BOLT SPEC.  The answers for the SELE may not be set properly.

and the second one is FLTH is Flange thickness which shall be set mentioned by ERICSUN :)

see thread for info
http://www.pdmsworld.com/forum/thread1027.html
it shows that there is no need in the spec for shop attribute

thank you yar_nl for your reply
i delete shop column from my bolt spec but i got this error:
(42,55)   No answers provided for question BTYP
(2,1)     The Qualifier for attribute BTYP must be a positive integer value
In line 4 of Command/Form Input
after that i change BTYP answers to STUD in bolt spec and also change BTYP attribute for BLTP of flange to STUD. in this case error is removed and i get the P1 BOLT1 BLEN. but why? what is different between 'BOLT' and 'STUD' for BTYP? i know we could use all BOLT, STU, MACH, CAP, JACK or TAP for BTYP. i use /PDMSPIPE.CATA-ANSI flanges and for all BLTPs in this catalog attribute BTYP is set to BOLT. i am confused.
please guide me.

i had read that manual and sample bolt spec which is posted by pitch before.
now i solve my problem. i think there are some points for spec as bellow:
1. there is no need in the bolt spec for shop question.
2. you should have certainly BTYP Defaults in bolt spec (e.g. BOLT or STUD)
3. if attribute Bitems of SBOL is set to e.g.: Bitems NUT NUT then you should create additional bolt SPCOMs in bolt spec with BTYP selector set to 'NUT'
if it is wrong please tell me.
