1. Are you saying that the piping spec specifies Machine Bolts for all flanged connections except wafer valves?
2. Does the wafer valve require STUDS or STUDBOLTS
3. What BTYPE is set in the BLTREF you have used for
a) Flange
b) Flanged Valve

Just a clarification.
In new bolting method, do we need to set the BLTREF of flanges, flanged valves, wafer valves etc? I'm used to setting BLTREFs only to bolt spcos.
Normally i use the same BLTREFs(SBOLT) for flange-gask-flange and flange-wafer type-flange. But for special occasions like addition bolt length for certain assembly, i should create diff SBOLT. Is setting the BLTREFs of flange type components(wafer valve..etc) the solution to select diff. bolt length when generated in isodraft?
