Bolting MTO problem

Hi guys,
I am trying to pull out a report for pipig and fittings and nuts and bolts.I gives me the pipig and fittings thru Utilites>Reports>run... but it does not include any bolts and uts in there.


My question is How to fix the report "standard PDMS reports for MTO" to give me the uts and bolts as well.

bolts and nuts are generated when you use isodraft... i saw in this forum some macros to extract bolt mto.. try to be patient to use the search engine..:)

you can create bolt report through iso draft only

it is simple go to isodraft
than goto menu isometric-standard
a box will appear select detail list
add allpipe whose bolt report u want to generate
after that in place of produce isometric use bolt report
it will ask you bolt file name be bolt say yes than i will ask you the bolt coordinate if you say yes than it will come iso wise if you say no it come in bulk report
the report file u will find in c:\window\bolt
open that file with open with txt file

Basically i found a way to extract the bolt report linewise by myself. Thanks. (Combiation of Isodraft ad microsoft excel :) )

I am new to pdms, pml and reports.

I need bolt mto report by linewise and I think it is only possible through pml and need the output in excel proper format.

Could you please share your mto file to check for my requirement.

Without trying to replicate our problem because it is not possible not having your data, I would have say that your bolting spec done wrong if it gives wrong material.
About number of bolts... Are you sure you don't have two flange assembly each of 4 bolts?

I think that bolt report does not consider the material for sum- only diameter and length have been consider for sum- and this is wrong
please try this for example:
bolt 1/2" (dia.) /length 65 (mm) /no.4 /material 2H
with bolt 1/2" (dia.) /length 65 (mm) /no.4 /material L7

result of bolt report is :
1/2" (dia.) /length 65 (mm) /no.8 /material 2H

it mean that material does not consider for sum.please check it and advise me
