• My company need to report bluelock clamp set as 4 different pieces in iso material. I have trouble on making bolts to work since bolt is only rely on one components instead of two or three components (such as flange gasket flange set). Currently, we make the bolt as pcom and place as attachment. It shows in SUPPORT section instead of BOLT in ISO material. The project is using old bolting method.
Any suggestion to make create bolt for clamp and make it show in ISO BOLT section?
    Thanks,
    Maggie
  • In design,Set the MTOREF of the CLAMP to the Bolt SPCO. and set the MTOQ of the Bolt DETREF to the quantity you require for the set.

They will appear at the bottom of the BOM under "Additional Items"
You may have to include the diameter and length in the bolt description (Just a possibility- I'm not sure)
  • Yes, MTOREF is the only solution.
The bolts of clamps are nothing to do with PDMS Bolting.
PDMS bolting ( old or new) is only for flanged elements.

If you need to add bolts to clamps you can use MTOREF

If you have already the PCOM with the bolts description you can do it easily.

Make the clamp as CE and write in command line some like this:

MTOR /xxxxxxxx   ( the name of the SPCO), so in the Isos will come the bolt.
If you need more than one you need to write twice

MTOR /xxxxxxx /xxxxxxx and so on

Other solution is to modify in the SDTEXT of the component the MtoQuantity , if you write 2 , every time you place the MTOR in the clamp it takes 2 bolts.

But as Pitch says they comes as additional material, never as Bolts

    Best regards
