Bolt length calciulating wrong

Dear all,

I have a stange problem in bolt length calculation in extracted isometric some cases.

Im expecting lenth is 350 (thk flange1 + thk flange2 + thk gas1 + thk gas2+3+3), but it is giving 750.  

What is the problem, Please note Im using old bolting method

You need to provide us more informations...

New bolting uses flange thickness

Old Bolting is 1/2 blength of bltref of Flange1 + 1/2 blength of bltref of Flange2 + length of any wafer fitting in between.
Result is rounded up to the next available length in the relevant length table. So make sure there are enough lengths in the table
to cover +/- 5mm of your result.

Would like to help but I cannot read the information in the picture.
Try breaking it down into smaller samples.

 

If you are using new bolting you could try adjusting the EXTRA length in the SBOLT to bring the calculation back to what you need.

It may take a few tries but try reducing the extra length by a small amount eg 0.2mm and re run the iso.
If it works then OK, if not adjust by another 0.2mm and repeat

Make sure you check that the items which are currently correct are not affected.

When I first tested New Bolting I had to use this method in order to get bolt lengths to match ASME B16.5
