New bolting - bolt problem at asme nozzle connect to gre piping

• hi Experts,
I have ASME nozzle connect to Gre piping. when export isometric is not show bolts and nuts. i check bltrefarray of catref nozzle is /A2R,STD (Bolt of ASME flange) and flange of Gre piping is /A2F,HDF,2000M (bolt of Gre Flange).
/A2R,STD and /A2F,HDF,2000M is same Bdia (0.63in).

What's problem happening ?

if i change Bltrefarry of Nozzle is same to Flange Gre (/A2F,HDF,2000M), isometric shall show bolts and nuts follow Gre Flange. However it will effect to all other ASME connection. i don't want to use this way.

Have you checked if you get any warning/error in the Message Window?
• Sorry for my silly question but....have you checked BDIA attribute for each BLTP?

And why do you have set Bthkness to SUM 51 5 instead of simply 56 ?
• Hi Corrado,
below is warning message
(33:771) Warning: Defined material list table when PartNumbers are not from database

but i check in paragon:
/NTC-1SB21ZZZZBBJJ with 4 BLTP

Type BLTP
Lock false

Bdiameter ( 0.63 in )
Btype BOLT
Bthkness 17

And /A2F,HDF,2000M with 4 BLTP

Name BLTP 1 of BTSET /A2F,HDF,2000M

Bdiameter ( 0.63 in )
Btype BOLT
Bthkness SUM 51 5

may i be missing anything else?
• May be a stupid question, but have you also confirmed that BLTP 2, 3 & 4 are correct?
It may not be BLTP1 that is the problem.
• @hi Corrado,
"And why do you have set Bthkness to SUM 51 5 instead of simply 56 ?"

51 and 5 is  the length of nut + extra length. this way is applied for other flange. I checked and it's not problem.

@hi Pitch,

I confirm it correct. because at the Gre flange connection which same bltrefarray is still show bolt and nut on Isometric.

The Sbolt  can be a problem? Because I see many Sbolt have same Bdia.

• The BTHK is supposed to be the flange thickness.
NUT length and XTRA length are part of the SBOL definition.

I notice that the BDIA value for both is showing as 0.63 in
As PARAGON input is by default in milimetres, check the BDIA setting using metric units.
There is a chance that their metric values are different but "rounding" is making them appear equal when PDMS converts to inch
• Hi Pitch,
You right the BTHK is supposed to be the flange thickness.

I checked Bdia of /NTC-1SB21ZZZZBBJJ and /A2F,HDF,2000M exactly is 0.63 in.

• Is this with precision ON (PREC 4DP)

Bolt for 2" flange is ⅝" = 0.625" = 15.88mm

Without precision 0.625 will display as 0.63
So, You may have one set at 0.625 and another at 0.63

• yes, Pitch.

I adjusted Bdia from 0.625 in to 0.63in before.

Nozzle spec and Gre spec are on different WORL (I copied database from 2 project). In each WORL, there have also Sbols which Bdia is same. The BTSET can refer to Sbol by Bdia and anything else? If there are may sbol which is same Bdia, it will have problem?
