I know that this topic is constantly raised but I have looked through the posts and still can't work out the concept of bolting.
I have always used old bolting in PDMS but now with E3D I want to use the new bolting method.
Looking at the Piping Catalogues and specifications training manual it looks like you're supposed to add both the stud and nuts to a bolting spec and then this is referenced by the piping spec.
But then I am not sure which SBOL I am supposed to use. The sample catalogue has a mixture of old and new bolting and is a mess.
I am currently using the BLIS /BLIST-METRIC-HD-NUT as the Bltref for my bolting spec and for the SBOLs typically its the following:
which one am i supposed to use? are there any other SBOLs like /MSTUD-HD16 but without the requirement for nuts? coz I don't want the stud and nuts to come out as 2 separate items but just like "stud with 2 nuts"
