• Hi Corrado,

thank you very much for your help, but... ;-)

I think this is a good solution for a lot of situations but I can't use this system.
I think I have been able to manage this.
First of all.
I have set TAP bolts type at BTSE level into the NOZZ Category.
Then....
In my Bolt Spec I have added SPCO elements with TAP selector but with NO Bolt Reference.
Description and material could be something like: Set made of 1 HEAVY HEX NUT and 1 WASHER ASTM A194 Gr.2H (ZINC. COATED)

And here the problem starts: I have nuts and washer with unique SAP ID-Code and I can't order them as set...
I probably could somehow, but that means a lot of stupid bureaucratic work (SAP...).
But even if I have not pointed to any SBOL in my TAP element SPCOs, Isodraft would calculate the total length of Flan thickness + Gasket thickness + Nozzle Flange thickness (i.e. for a 150# RF 4" connection: 24 + 3 + 24 = 51mm)
Giving a result similar to: 51 Set made of 1 HEAVY HEX NUT and 1 WASHER ASTM A194 Gr.2H (ZINC. COATED)
In order to remove length information, I have changed Bthkness of BLTP elements of BTSE of Nozzle from (RPRO FLTH) to a very high negative value: (-1000)
Isodraft calculates 24 + 3 -1000 = -973
As a consequence of this negative value, Isodraft removes the bolt length info....I don't know why... :-)
So, at the end of this story, on the material list I have : Set made of 1 HEAVY HEX NUT and 1 WASHER ASTM A194 Gr.2H (ZINC. COATED)

HTH

Thanks again for your help, but I think the best way to solve this would be a hard coded bolt selector, e.g. like FTAP (fixed tapped bolt) which indicates an already existing bolt at component (filter, heat-exchanger, ...) which ignores the bolt in the material list...maybe I should put it on the wish-list...
Do I win a price when I have the most entries in the wish list? ;-)
