PDMS 12.1 Bolt Color Setup

Bolt colour?
Do you mean you want to give bolts a colour in a PDMS 3d model?
Or are you talking about assign them a painting/surface treatment?

Hi,

Can you give me any idea how/where to put data COLOR for BOLTS aside from creating a UDA or putting in description?

I've scanned from existing manual, there are no available information for COLOR setup in BOLT.

In Standard pdms they didnit show the bolt model, if we want we must you create new component for that and we assign like as atta.

Hi corrado,

I'm referring on how to assign surface painting in bolts in PDMS. However, my purpose of  putting color in bolts is not for treatment, but for the seggregation of materials of bolts in BQ purposes (material take off).

FYI, this is an additional requirement from our client.

i had created Bolt model with using atta as bolt.

if you use the bolttool.pmlfrm the model of bolt will be shown as primitive geometry of equipment.
