Problem with calculation length

  • Outlet: 110 / 2 = 55
    Mating Flange 80 / 2 = 40
    Result length 55 + 40 = 95
Next available length in the DTAB= 100 (i guess)
Hope this make sense to you...
  • My suggestion would be to move to the NEW bolt method.

For OLD method I think you need to create two different Flange SPCO components pointing to two different SBOL.
  • Dear
something that i don't understand but i thinked it was acquired for me...appears that not.

    We using old method
i have a valve inlet with normal bolt from our piping class, the outlet have an extra length.

on the valve SPCO  ,the bltref is a MBOL

SBARRAY num 1 is the same SBOL of a flange-> the default value length is 80 mm.
SBARRAY num 2 (for outlet) is the a copy of previous sbol but i changer length for 110mm.

If i understand all the process, the length take the value of "start" 110 mm  ,if exist ,he found additional length of element between two flanged connection, and he take the value (rounded up) in the DTAB Blength.

My issue is: it's correct for my inlet but,FOR my oulet ,the value exported in isometrics is 100 mm AND not 110mm.

Or there is an other way for extra length?
    Thank you for all
  • ok thank you very much, corrado, very clear ...

so if i want set 110 mm (and keep my standard flange) ,i need to increase the value of my new sbol (in this case 110 to 140),140 depend of course of the length of my flan (here 70+40 = 110).

But are there an other method more appropriate, because i see attribut extralenght,i played with this but no result.
Precision ,i can't use new method.
