Hello there,

could you please advise?
Space Management is part of the "marine" applications that have recently been introduced.
On the On-Line_help you can read:
The Space Management application handles arrangement design which includes the definition of spaces, areas and curves possibly with functional data to specialise for a specific design purpose. The arrangements can be used to coordinate other design activities as well as be used downstream to support other design activities with geometry data and functional properties.
During my training courses I usually suggest to use Areas. You can find this in the General Tab.
Areas are helpful for Clash check, MTO, 2D Drawings production and laser point cloud management.

Corrado Galluzzi , Do you mean Plant training courses or Marine ones?
Plant training courses.
How areas can be used in Clash check, MTO, 2D Drawings production and laser point cloud management?
Are they like a list/group that its contents can be added to other processes?
I am sorry but these are training subjects and the scope of this Forum is different.
But just to give you a small example, take a look at the attached picture.
Through Areas you could define volume-wise the scope of your clash check:
I know that the scope of this Forum is different. I just want to figure out the importance and see a sample for it, after that if we find it useful we may request a training course.
Anyway, thanks for your response.
Ok I understand your point.
So here are some additional notes.
