cannot find p-points error

Hi..I have created a support ATTA in paragon and added that to specification. when designer tries to import the model, it's showing an error message as 'COULD NOT FIND P-POINTS'.

The catalogue reference in the specification is assigned properly. checked.
Any possible solutions to sort this out?

  • Can you share a screenshot of the error message for more detail?

    Also, does the created support ATTA has all the required p-points by AVEVA E3D Supports?

    Below is a screenshot from TM-1865 AVEVA Everything3D (2.1) Supports Administration page 135 for the required p-points.

    In the screenshot you have sent, I can only see Ppoint 1, Ppoint 2, Ppoint 3 and Ppoint 4.

    It also looks like a kind of pipe shoe, but I think the current configuration of Ppoint 1 to 3 is  weird.

    Ppoint 1 should be arrive ppoint, while ppoint 2 is leave ppoint. Ppoint 1 and 2 are usually positioned on the origin P0.

    After correcting Ppoint 1,2,3 configuration, you also need to add the other required ppoint 9,10,11,12.

    I would recommend you to refer to the AVEVA supplied support ancillaries and replicate their ppoint configuration.

    Browse the contents of /MDS-Standard-Supports on Catalogue and try to find the closest type of support ATTA to your requirement

    If your company has its own custom support atta that is already used before without problem, then you can also refer to those.
