pipe cuts in plan view

basically i am talking about they piping GA (plan)
is it possible to show pipe hidding one below they other showing a pipe hiden below clearly in plan view itself, showing they above pipe cut, like what we do in autocad while preparing piping plan

You can if its for say a one or two off!
A lot of messing around but basically you add a second view with just the pipe you want cut, then create a box and change the box lpen to 254 (not sure if that is the correct number as I haven't used it for a while) this will make everything in the box appear blank.
As I say a lot of messing but it gets the job done for presentation.

I believe the question is can you cut the pipe above another one in a GA in draft....the answer is no.

 

yeah...u can go for UNIVERSAL HIDDEN LINE option in view type . this option will be there in create-view.

For representation in draft, create a slab library symbol depicting a break in the pipe.  Position over the pipe that was created as an element in design.  This method is for simple views, otherwise, create a vsect and show a partial view at each elevation.

ive got the same problem.. im trying to do it in section stepped. perhaps if it wont work defenitely ill manipulate it tru draft primitive or slabs
