Hello everyone, its been a while since I been here so I guess I start it off again with a question. I am setting up the line style rules and I want to see the centerline of the member. At the moment, I can set the MLNPEN but the line doesn't go all the way thru, It seens to start and stop without any reason. I want to see the line from one connection to the next connection (The true length of the section). Now, I have check the Cats and Specs and I do have the CLFlg set for the NA pline and I have modified the style to turn on the CLINE and set a pen to the CLPEN but no luck. any ideals.
Type STYL
Lock false
Tubeflag ON
Cline ON
Profile On
Ffpen 11
Clpen 4
Dlevel 6
Just to clarify, I am only interested in the Profile and the centerline/member line. For some reason PDMS keeps breaking this line, instead on having it run the length of the member, its breaks or doesn't run all the way thru. Bracing is my major issue. I want to see the centerline of my brace connect to the centerline of the tubular column.
Yes, the center line of the brace member is being cut the the column. The centerline of the column is being broken by the ring plates or plate girders.
I had send an email to the aveva support and they come back with the DUNIO but the DUNIO is set to 0 everywhere and the sctns are in different SITE, ZONES, and STRUS. Some (Deck Cans of the Main Deck and Deck Legs of Production deck) are in different databases.
nope, I do not have a duplicate rule.
But I just copies the brace to the same framework as the Deck Can and guess what, everything works great, the centerlines connect like I want. The problem is that I won't have them in the same Site. It there any way PDMS can treat them as if they are in the same frmw without being in the same frmw?
