[QUOTE=swissis;58458]What do you want to do with the IDF?
I have seen a IDF convertor that can read in IDF files at a colleagues laptop.
You need to do a bit of mapping but i works pretty OK.
swissis
Client has provided a idf file and i would like to open it and convert into autocad.
the DXF what they forward are ready to give doesnt have the Cutlength information
We asked to add the cutlength information so they told us the .idf format consist all the cutlength info.
Atis if you open IDF File it iwll have references to few directories which are specific to project setup.
in your case it is poiting to message file somewhere in T drive.
You will have to edit that entry to point to your project setup then you can see isometric.
send me your file and i can help you on it
Does Spooler generate any files that will allow an electric tracing drg to be created and an electrical tracing mto to be taken off.
In pds when using isogen there was an idf file was generated which allowed the electrical engineer to supply a mto for electrical requirements.
Can anyone suggest a way to replicate this in PDMS Spooler

Sorry: no chance to get in ISODRAFT by standard means any reliable reports or figures about insulation and tracing and have that on the drawing. You have to write your own macros running either in Isodraft or Design for that as seperated reports.
Hi
My requirement is to create a spool drawing from PDMS Spooler Module using IDF files.
How to use the IDF files to create spool drawings in PDMS Spooler Module? can you please give me an idea to do this.
