I got a little problem here. I have created a backing sheet from ACAD, and successfully input it under the Library. However after i created the library and backing sheet, i dont know the option how to use it, what i mean after i create a drawing from template the only backing sheet options there is the from Sheet from template and drawing from template. Can somebody teach me how to select the Backing sheet that I have created?
Thank you so much for the response.
Draft Main Menu:
Settings-->User Defaults (but this will be reset to the default value when exiting PDMS)
Draft Administration Main Menu:
Settings-->System Defaults
Or you can manually edit C:\AVEVA\Plant\PDMS12.0.SP6\PDMSUI\dflts\dra-gen-system
As far as I know, colours are mapped from PDMS to AUTOCAD and not viceversa. But I could be wrong...
So you need to re-colour in Draft your BACK once imported.
Thank you so much Corrado, its great and ive done it perfectly. However ive noticed that the colors from Autocad didnt imposed if I have converted the backing to PDMS eventhough it has been exploded already. Can this one will be configured also?
kaylestar if you are using 12.0 or newer the color tables are pretty closely aligned and it shouldn't be too big of an issue. The problem will be if you use DXF which in that case doesn't hold the layer information in ACAD so it will more than likely all be on layer 0 in ACAD.
