like mark ce in design..

I think there is one option but which may not fully satisfy ur requirement.
You can create MRKP on that element & use any style to that Markerpoint so that atlease you will have some marking on that element.

ok I just gotta ask because my curiousity is up, but why just attach a label (Glab) and delete when your done.

Which elements you want to mark temporarily? Design data I suppose? So you are searching for something similar to AID elements in design ?
