Hi can someone please point me in the right direction

I'm wanting to have intelligent text with the date to read 06.02.13

I have opened the dra-gen-text file to input a new date but I don't know how to create a new hashcode.

Is there anywhere I can find out how to do this ???

based on whats already in the dra-gen-text im thinking of calling the hash code #DDATE OR #EDATE and in the format DD.MM.YY

Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Wolfie

Hi Corrado,
I sure have but there is no codewords for the date format 06.02.13.

I have changed the attribute for the Dept so I get ddmmyy but the client requires dots instead of slashes

Cheers

Try with:

#BDATE(C:2). #BDATE(C4:5). #BDATE(C9:10)

;-)

Just take a look at SAM Project and DRA-GEN-SYSTEM file.
You have to call your Template DRWG and SHEE elements with a specific Prefix so that Draft will automatically recognize them.
That's it!

Hi Corrado,

Thanks for that it makes a bit of sense now - Pdms is like a big puzzle and im getting little bits but making a bigger picture each time so thanks for that

I did not realise that you could make it up from bits and pieces but i understand now :)

Hi Corrado,

Just a quick one - where do I find info on creating template drawings instead of creating them explicity and adding the ref to the backing sheet??

cheers Wolfie
