• So I've got a need to draw some negatives in draft. The options are there, but it doesn't seem to work.

This is for single-line steel views which draft is only drawing the member line of the sctn. For our holes we use fittings, templates and negatives. I'd like to draw the negatives in draft.

Or if there are any other recommendations I'd love to hear them!

    Thanks
  • Draft is always driven by design content only, In design negatives appears means draft also it should look.

May be check your representation rules.

    Q RRSF-->On View Level
After navigating to RRSF Type Q DESC
  • So for testing I put a local rule in the view:

    Styf /SAS.TTF.LIB/STYL/S/SCTN-HOLES
    Omitflag false
    SymbolFlag false
    NoHLRFlag false
    Criteria  ALL NCYLINDER

The style it points to is:
    Name /SAS.TTF.LIB/STYL/S/SCTN-HOLES
    Type STYL
    Lock false
    Owner /SAS.TTF.LIB/STYL/S
    Tubeflag On
    Cline On
    Psymbols Off
    Obstflag Off
    Insulation Off
    Profile On
    Plines Off
    FFStyle 16
    FFColour 25
    BFStyle 8
    BFColour 25
    CLStyle 16
    CLColour Grey
    ObStyle 16
    ObColour Grey
    PLnStyle 16
    PLnColour Grey
    MLnStyle 16
    MLnColour Red
    Dlevel 6

I've tried many combinations of the style and nothing works. The problem I think is that the FFstyle isn't being drawn in the view, only the MLstyle.

Here's how it looks in multi-line represenation:

Then in single-line the holes disappear:
