By the way: ADP in PDMS has several parts
1.ADP or AB-ADP for GA drawings which is very good
2.MDS drawings - fully automated
3.Pipe Sketches - self-explanatory
4.HVAC Sketches - self-explanatory
5.Steelwork Detailing - self-explanatory but there some work should be perfectly done in catalogue
6.Isometric Drawing
7.IsoADP - HVAC isometrics
Which one you prefer depends on task. All mentioned could be customised by the needs of the projects

Hello to all,

Which one is better auto drawing production or customised solutions.

I Found some negatives on Auto drawing production.

1.Useful for very Limited type of drawings.Equipment layout,Piping Layout and some standard structural drawings.

2.Rule definiton for each configuration file limited to 3.Same drawing we have to use more than 2 configuration files.

3.For different type of drawings different adp configuration is needed.

4.Dimensions are not fully automated.(Manual Work)

Please comment on my views and give your valuable suggestions.

Isometric ADP Overview
An add-on application which has been completely overhauled for PDMS 12.1.
Used for drawing detailed drawings, complete with parts lists, of both HVAC and Cable Ways.
It is fully configurable and produces a fully annotated Isometric-style drawing with:
-Dimensioned and labelled Spool
- Material Take-Off Table
- Location Plan of the Spool in the Main
- Keyplan of location to nearest Grid Line
- Revision table
- Total Weight and Centre of Gravity

It's only for HVAC and cableways or also for Pipes?
