Working on a Draft DWG and I copied a few GLABs from another DWG in order to speed up the annotation process. For some reason in this particular DWG I can not reattach a GLAB to a member within in the view. When I try to I get this error:
ERROR:
(47,62) CP: Incomplete command line
Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated.
try this..
if you copy already the GLAB, you need to edit the DDNAM, it shoud be the item you need to tag so that it will attached on it.. hope it helps
use Q ATT and edit the ddnam..
try this for much faster making annotation...
1. make report and collect all REF of the items you need to put glab, paste it in excell or output in excell.
2. the command is NEW GLAB DDNAM =62541/8897 --> this no. is the REF of the items you need to put glab.
3. paste this as macro in your command line.. you can paste all at once, be sure you are on the correct layer on the draft explorer before you paste as macro.. hope it helps..
Dod you copy a View as well? i your description it will not pseed up the proccess due to the fact that GLAB have their owner in DDNAME and how does the system should understand where to attached them on other DRWG is not clear for. Why just not to use a simple autootagging - this is really make it quicker for labelling
