Creating a0 landscape backing sheet

• We normally use in Draft four our backing sheets, external files (pdms plot-files) which we have created from an autocad plt file in hpgl format.

On sheet level we then have the attribute bsfname filled in : Bsfname /%GENFRA%/A0H01

For that purpose, we need to be able to create an autocad plt file.
Before  (pdms 11.6) we used autocad 2002 and an hpgl driver.
Through a batch-file we tranferred the autocad plt file to a pdms plot file, which can be used as bsfname...

Now for pdms 12 sp6.**  we use autocad 12 and we installed an hpgl-printer (I tried several, th ebest result was a 7585 plotter driver)
So far so good, we could create all formats and transfer them to a pdms-file.

The only problem is that if we want to create an A0-landscape, the plot ,created by Autocad, is always rotated 90 degrees, and so of no in pdms.

Does someone has a similar problem or a solution for this issue ?

An alternative should be to create a real backing sheet, but then we loose some company logo's due to the fact that transferring autocad-drawings to pdms-draft-backing sheets ... most of the items have to be exploded and therefor most logo's will be completely destroyed.

Thanks for your help. :smug:
• cant you change the printer defaults so that its not rotated 90deg?
company logos can look good enough in draft. if you are using .plt file as your backing sheet then you must be putting the Title block fields/text/attributes in the actual sheet as TEXP.
UDAs are the way to go
• Is there a good place where the 7585 plotter driver can be downloaded from?
• I'm sure mister Google can help you to find a suitable driver
