Hi hopefully there is an easy solution for this

Working in draft I would like to use the (NAME) as an output for my GLAB so I can see =222222/444444 etc, on the drawing sheet

I can get every other label to work apart from #NAME

The label come out with     _ _ _

    Any suggestions

    Thanks

You get --- because the element you have attached a GLAB to is unnamed.
If you want =222222/444444 then you can try with #REFNO

A short comment. For the Null text which is the text displayed if the intelligent text could not be taken, the Ntext attrbiute is responsible.
When you create a shee and view there are several Layers automatically created. Laye has mentioned Ntext attrbiute.
Then if you check for PDMSDFLTS folder you can find a dra-gen-lablay file. This is the file which stored some defaults used on label layers creation. So if you put there a command
    Ntext '#NAMN'
then all layers will have Ntext set to '#NAMN' and that means that if you label something and I-text you put could not be calculated then the system will take value from Ntext so #NAMN
