This thread will discuss how to create new line pattern in draft.
1. Type the following in command line: NEW STYLWL
2. New Line Patter: NEW LSTYTB then NEW LINEST
LWIDTH - width of line (2mm max) PATDEF - create line pattern (dash or gap or combination) PATREP - distance that the pattern repeat
Example:
LWIDTH 2mm - line will be 2mm width
PATDEF 50 -50 - line will have equal dash and gap (positive & negative value)
PATREP 8mm - will repeat after 8mm
Note:
Since PATREP is 8mm, DASH and GAP will be both 4mm length since PATDEF is equal.
If PATDEF is UNSET, it will be a straight line.
Type UPDATE PENSTYLES to update changes
Is there an option to change the Line Type Scale (as in Autocad)?
I tried to export the drawing to PDF from Draft but I have an issue that the line type scale is bigger than it seems in Draft.
