I have been working in DRAFT for years. Version 12.1 for since 2010. (currently 12.1.SP2.23).
I recently began working at new company which has just started working with PDMS. The PDMS administrator has no previous experience. A course from AVEVA is all.
While working in DRAFT, I keep the modify SLAB/GLAB form open and the dimension points form open. I will have multiple drawings in my session often moving back and forth between drawings, updating the model, getting work, and updating draft, etc. Sometimes I will need to modify a drawlist for a particular view.
For the first time I am getting an error if I try to update, modify a drawlist within a view. I’m told because I am going above the sheet level, the Labels form is searching for a layer with the appropriate purpose, LAB. Because there are no elements under the LIBY (where the drawlist is contained) with the correct purpose settings (LAB), I get the error message.
Unable to find correct layer type for the current sheet.
Am I the only person who keeps these forms open while working in DRAFT over the course of a day?
Is anyone else getting this error message?
