This comes from PDMS 12.1.SP4 User Bullettin (but it is valid for E3D-Isodraft too):
The PDMS plotfile format has served its users well over the years but has remained unchanged for many years. Its scope is quite limited and it cannot cope with some of the more complex documents we now wish to produce. In particular, it cannot handle text that uses TrueType fonts.
Isodraft uses .plt files as backing sheets
So I would recommend to add texts to your backing sheet afterward directly with Isodraft using TEXTPOSITION command...
wow thats pretty ordinary :(
why wasn't isodraft revamped with the release of E3D? coz i have noticed that its pretty much the same so far. no major improvements
There's an import CAD drawing under the tools tab. you can use what you have imported to create your BACK.
And in my personal opinion I wouldn't place the backing sheet under that library. You should create your own company master project with a database for your draw setup. Also i reckon importing backing sheets from AutoCAD isn't the best thing either. You get a much cleaner BACK if you build it from scratch in Draw and it doesn't take that long either
And the best part is that you solved my problems ! :D
The Problem with this projekt is that we must have their Backingsheets,
But in the future i'll do my own if i get the chance ;)
