Draft Plotting scale and missing border

Got a weird one with plotting in draft.

I've got a sheet with an associated backing sheet.

If I plot it using the postcript option the backing sheet vanishes and it is plotted smaller than anticipated. i.e the expected A0 841 is plotted 717.

If I use the HPGL plotting option then the size is right and the border appears but all of the rules relating to colour are seemingly ignored.

If I use the pdf plotting option the size is right but the border vanishes.

Does anyone have any clues as to where to start looking to resolve this?

Sorry no I've not really used that option.

I have discovered what must be a bug with PDMS 12.1 SP2

If I detach the backing sheet and reattach it it starts to appear on the PDF output which does achieve my objectives.
