Of course, you are right-DUnion attribute should be set to 0 in order to see outer edge of the connecting profile. Unfortunately, this only works when steel profiles are ending at outer edge of the other connecting profile (Picking Filter --> No Rule effect). When profiles are connected in such a way that they are connected at profile rib (Picking Filter --> Normal effect), then DUnion 0 has same effect as DUnion 2 setting - profiles are shown in draft as on picture two above.
We still didn't managed to find adequate solution for this issue since we need to have connections at profile ribs in order to have adequate cutlen values of connecting profiles.
If you add Joints to the connection, then providing the catalog joints are correctly defined the edges will be shown.
prior to adding the joints we usual Change the DRGPRI from 0 to one numbe higher.
So for example a column will be left as 0, the incoming beam will be 1, a beam connection to that member will be 2, if a third beam connects to the second then it will be DRGPRI 3 and so on.
