Is anyone else finding Draft completely unusable in 12.1.sp4? We upgraded to sp4 and now in draft the current layer and current element functionality is acting crazy. We cannot set our current layer and the current element is stuck on the sheet note. If you select a dimension and then bring up the modify dimension points command, everything is greyed out because the system thinks your current element is the sheet note. If I right click in the members list it jumps to the first vnot in my matchline layer. The filter layers selection is stuck on 2D draughting and will not change. The current layer is stuck on my sheet note. We have contacted Aveva but just wondering if anyone had this issue. Test Draft before you roll the upgrade out!
I had some similar issues when going from 12 to 12.1.. for some crazy reason the "automatics" were not able to locate proper layer for dimensions and labels etc. and jumped always to view 1. ( yes, the defaults were set properly :) )
By deleting the local settings (not pdmsuser) the problem was solved. ( and never returned )
goto:
C:\Users\*your_user_name*\AppData\Local\Aveva\PDMS
and delte the content
