Adding image in Draft

Hi, does anyone know if this is possible? I see there is a IMGELE at SHEE level but I don't know what to do with it. NEW IMGELE is not allowed.
We have a problem with a Client LOGO wrt resolution. Making a SYMB for the LOGO doesn't work.

you have the autocad file for this client logo.

then you can tranfer this to pdms draft.

Already the process discussed number of time on the forum.

hi,

i read the post really i don't know about IMGELE, It is protected by default by aveva it seems.

client logo you can shift to draft through some commands in autocad.if you have autocad file.

image you can't transfer directly to draft

There is a problem when I make a Symbol of the logo. When I save as PDF you can't see the writing (it's too small).

But when I add image in Acad and print, it's okay. The image prints fine but the symbol doesn't. :Not_Impressed:

logo you have to explode and transfer to draft through some specific commands.

later you have to outline the logo in order to get the results in draft.

       can you give me some steps to outline the logo in order to get the results in draft.

from the ACAD command line type in APPLOAD
A form will pop up, navigate to C:\Aveva\Plant\PDMS12.1.SP2\AutoDRAFTACAD and select all six lsp files these being as follows


pdmsback.lsp
pdmsdraw.lsp
pdmsgeom.lsp
pdmsquit.lsp
pdmssymb.lsp
pdmsutil.lsp


Once selected click on the load button and close the form down. The directory will vary dependent upon the version of PDMS you are using but the changes should be self evident.


Load the appropriate drawing border into AutoCAD and type the command EXPLODE ALL


Now type in PDMS_SHEET ALL on the Command Line


A series of questions will be asked and they will obviously change depending upon your requirements.

         I have tried these steps,I have imported symbol is with no of STRA primitives.so now we want to hatch particular symbol letters.Please guide either to import from auto cad as outline or create outline in pdms and hatch symbol letters.
