You can use modify, this will highlight grips on the leaderline, use cursor to adjust position.
Also you can use apoffset, in command line, use Q ATT and adjust apoffset values

I haven't used marine draft so not sure if different from general draft.

With slab your ce, in command line type q att, in general draft we can see APOFFSET BPOFFSET & CPOFFSET.
    If the attributes says:
    Apoffset unset
    You can change to:
    Apoffset 10mm 0mm

APOFFSET BPOFFSET & CPOFFSET all have x y positions

    Hope this helps

    Hello again gurus.

I have a slab that's connected to a bent panel showing its item No.
I'd like to reposition the leaderline without losing the connection
to the panel. is this possible with cursor positioning or some other way?

    Thank you again!

Those are good ideas but I'm forced to use marine draft and I haven't been able to find the
modify tool in here. That was my goto tool for this operation as well.
And what comes to apoffset it says 'cursor input invalid at this stage'. So no help there either.
    Any more ideas? :)

    Hi.

Yes I'm aware of these attributes and I normally use themn in outfitting draft as well.
apoffset works if I give it the offset by hand (apoffset 10 20) but I'd like to give it with cursor so that
I don't need to guess the right values to the attribute. But for some reason the simple 'apoffset @' command won't
let me input the cursor point. I don't know why it doesn't work but I'm looking for a similar solution.

If you haven't resolved it yet; "LEAD ATTA @" might be the trick for you.

I have resolved it actually. there is a function for it in marine draft.
And the solution you were offering actually ended with fatal error :D
    so that didn't work either.
