Pipe Hatching Not showing Pipe Symbol

Hi All,

I have a view with the hatching representation set to a rep rule which is set to show Pipe Symbols.
In the view there are 2 pipes. Both are perpendicular to the view.
One is showing the pipe symbol and one isn't showing the symbol.
I have double checked the pipe is running orthogonally and the pipe symbol attribute for the style is set to true.

Does anyone know what's the issue?

check the pipe / branch attributes assigned in design if the rep. rule has a condition which gets the value from attributes of pipe / branch

the criteria is all pipe so i don't think there could be any attribute set which will affect it

so... the rest options to check are...
1) whether the civil or structural item penetrating at same elevation or not (if not limits for up should be corrected)
2) whether the civil or structural item are build directly under structure level or not (subs shouldn't be used)
3) if your using hole management check whether it is properly defined.

there's no pipe penetration...

 

May I know what is the pipe symbol you are trying.....

its part of the hatching style. Its the pipe end symbol attribute

Even if the pipe is orthognonal to the view, if the symbol doesn't appear, this could be due to the fact that the section plane is crossing a piping component (even just a little bit).
