In E3D 2.1 the XGEOM element can be added to the draw list and included in a Drawing, I would include an image but for some reason the image upload is not working for me :-(
As point cloud surveys cover large areas, a good work flow is to classify the point cloud. This is a process of defining volumes of the point cloud. These volumes (AREADE elements) are then stored in the DABCON database so next time you are trying to locate a room or pump it is stored within the database for other users to access. These volumes are then used to increase the point density within the volume(s), highlight or mask volumes of point cloud data. These volumes are accessible within the DRAW application to modify the display of the point cloud in the same manner.
The AREA and DEMOLITION elements are created in Model using the same tools as EQUIPMENT primitives. The idea being that the MODEL users will generate the an area element for a room or section of the plant they would access everyday. Additional area elements would be created for any pipework they wish to highlight or remove, they would need to do this if they wish to highlight or mask them in MODEL.
These elements are then accessible from within DRAW to select as regions of interest etc.
As to creating a LAVOST just pressing the Yes button will create one at the appropriate point in the DRAW hierarchy, if you go for this option there will a LAVOST created for each view.
