Anyone know how to access #DIMPOSDD from PML code?
It works fine when we change Pltxt directly in command windows or from PML code, but what I want is to get its value to put in other formulas in PML code.
Thanks for your reply. I?m sorry to make you confused, but what I mean is how to get the #DIMPOSDD value without setting PLTX in advance. The above code works fine with PLTX set, but not with ?unset? DPPT, DPOI or DPBA
[QUOTE=JooLian;112783]the value of #DIMPOSDD is the coordinate in the dimension DIRECTION of the 3D dimension point POSITION.
example: DPPT , DIRECTION from OWENR , POSITION from DDNAME.
hope is work .
Thanks! I know that, but it will not work correctly when you use Before/After dimensioning as the 3D position of DDNA always refer to the origin point of the element.
