I am closing a global project.... and i am at HUB
can you please guide what are the steps to be followed or cautions to be taken.....
i am putting the steps i know:
1) make all the DB primary at HUB
2) De allocate the DB from satellite....
3) Change the Satellite Transcation Db primary to HUB
it went very well...and closed the project successfully...
just a small correction from my first post is:
no need to change the Transaction DB ownership....when the satellite location is deleted automatically the ownership changes to Hub....and before making any DB primary at Hub it is good to check whether the Updates were successfully between the locations and has to compare the DB Size / Pages for both locations and should ensure that data is updated till date.
