Copy database without deleted old one?

Hi, I’d to copy database without deleted old one, is it possible?
Because of I’ve found in command reference, it must has delete old database.

My problem is, I’ve one database lot of size (3.7 GB), there contains 2 sites.
I’d to separated one site to new database.

have you try to merge database changes to clean up the session of the DB?

All activities had been done but size not difference.
In my mind, I'd to copy to new database and deleted old site.

Is it possible for DBLIST with database size big more 3.78 GB?

maybe its ok if you divide it, maybe by ZONE, or something similar. Honestly, i haven't experiece PDMS database of more that 3GB after Merge Changes.

This is possible with reconfiguration, to move part of info from old DB to new DB:

LOAD /DUMP1
FROM DB MASTER/DESIGN
TO DB MASTER/DESNEW
RCFCOPY ALL
RECONFIGURE
DUMP /DUMP2

Read properly this manual and dont forget about backup :
