I wish to place a Tie-in symbol in a pipe isometric but i do not find the way to do it. Is there any option to associate this symbol with a isometric?
Regards
could you post any drawing? but you can position any symbol in iso using atta using user-defined iso symbol. You can find the guide in isodraft user and reference manual.
I think you can use a comment atta. STEX can be set to 'TIE-IN 2'. And in isodraft you can use the OUTCOM command with Diamond shape on SUPP elements
Then you can set MTOC attribute of ATTA to OFF in design.
I am giving a training course.....so I could be wrong as I am trying to remember..... :-)
Try to do what you say but I can not even see the changes, use the command OUTC ATTY ON ALL WITH DIAM in the command line but nothing happens. Is there anything else I should do?
Sorry...I was wrong !!!
So....
You can create an ATTA. Set its ATTY to WELD. Use a text type attribute (U.D.A.) and write 'TIE-IN 2' or anything you need. Set its MTOC attribute to OFF.
Than you can modify your option file by adding: Outcom :MDSComment on SUPP with Boxstyle ANGLED
As you can see I have used an existing MDS U.D.A.......I am a bit tired and lazy tonight..... :-)
Do not use STEX attribute as you will display your text twice!
It is probably a bit cumberstone....but it does the job!
Hope this can help...
