Isometric legend/default symbols correct representation

Hi all E3D/PDMS Gurus,

I'm having a client that is complaining about the isometric symbols that doesn't match the legend/default symbols for SW/SC end types:

This is something that we never paid much attention, because at the end we use the fittings that are on the BOM. But regarding the representation on the isometric the client is correct, they are wrong.

At moment this is the representation for the Socket Weld fittings a fill rectangle. It is using the "SITE CONNECTION" representation:

By reading the "ISODRAFT Reference Manual", "my understanding", what controls the presentation is the Weldtype Option:

This is what I get with Weldtype ON:

This is what I get with Weldtype OFF:

Any idea how can I have the correct legend/default symbols on the Isometrics?

Just to close this topic and maybe help someone. Want we have found, and works best for us. Is to set the FLAG on the isodraft options file WELDTYPE to FORCESITE. This will "virtual" set all connections…

Hi Abilio,

for small Nominal Bores (i.e. <DN50) SW connection are represented as "site connection" as they are usually not pre-fabricated

I apologize, I forgot to mention about SHOP attribute, too.

Check SHOP attribute of your components.

SHOP TRUE you should get what you are expecting.

SHOP FALS you should get "Site Connection" representation

Hi have set PIPE SHOP TRUE; BRANCH SHOP TRUE; ELBOW SHOP TRUE; CAP SHOP TRUE. Still only works for the CAP:

This will "virtual" set all connections to shop that will use the default symbols representation, but divides correctly the material from Erection/Prefabrication on the BOM.
