    Hi all,

What is the way from which I can append in my project's available connection table such that it includes the connections defined by the specs that I am using? In specific, I am getting the error 'Head Connection type ''FAN'' does not exist in the available connection table (COCO)'. FAN is the connection type for a flange where F=Flange, A=Flat Face and N=PN10 nominal pressure rating.

    Thanks for your response.

    KR,

    KMT.

You should create a new COCO element.
    FAN - GAN
And for each code its COCDES element

To follow up on this. I did figure out what my issue was with pipe coming in twice as big as other components - I had the wrong Catrefs in my Spec - they were pointing to larger bore size. Still not sure how that happened. The other issue is still unresolved - adding FAN-GAN connection did not work for me as I am dealing with VIGM and VIGF grooved connections here. Thanks for the reply Deva.

Anna, you probably got the Victaulic catalogue from their web site, didn't you?
The catalogue should come together with a set of COCO.
I suggest you to double check your Victaulic data.
Moreover it could be that you need clamps to connect fittings together.
They are probably stored as COUP in the Victaulic catalogue/spec

That is exactly right Corrado! I have now fixed the issue. Resolution is:
    1. Moving the Victaulic COCO tables higher up the Catalog Explorer Hierarchy - ABOVE the Master COCO tables.
    2. Create VIGM-OPEN COCO
I am not sure if just one or both of these actions fixed the issue but I that's what I did in my Catalog session, saved work, got back into Design and saw no more error messages.
    Thanks everyone for your replies.
If you get anything out of this Please let it be this: Make sure to follow directions when loading any Vendor catalog and place COCO tables above Master COCO tables (if that is your Default).

I think the second action did the job.
Hierarchical order is not important as the system scans the whole MDB when looking for COCO elements
    Thanks for the feedback Anna
