Spec update attributes with GPART

Is there an easier way to update SPECs with the updated GPART attributes?  
Current method:  Use modify spec form and when prompted, select Update Atts... option and apply.

You can make simple codes to get the information from GPART
!ITEMCODE = !!CE.PRTREF.:ITEMCODE

VAR !COLL COLL ALL SPCO FOR CE
DO !i INDICES !COLL
$!COLL[$!i]
!ITEMCODE = !!CE.PRTREF.:ITEMCODE
:ITEMCODE '$!ITEMCODE'
ENDDO

Works great at the spec level.  Do you see any issues with running it at the specworld.  I'm hesitant on running this at the corp spwl.

I don't see why it would be any different at the SPWL level except for the time it takes to complete.
