Hi, I am creating a catalogue for plastic piping in which the maximum length of pipe spool will be 4m. After 4m there will be a coupling to join it with another pipe. How can I make this coupling appear automatically in Design & Isometric MTO when the length of spool increases 4m?

Since normally we do not create GMSE for pipes, in this case will it be required?

This is not possible by default.
You could do it afterwards using Pipe Splitting utility ( Split into Segments option).
You need to define a new Pipe Assembly made of a coupling.

Put your 4m Spools in as FTUBs. Its a fairly simple Macro to populate the pipe with the FTUB's and couplings once the pipe routing has been finalized and the FTUB's gives you a total
    MTO for your 4m spools
