    What are the different between BEND and ELBOW?

    The only difference WRT  to PDMS is, while taking MTO the elbow’s  fall under Fitting's MTO and the bend’s  will be a counted as part of the pipe and the length will be added to the pipe it self

    It is worth noting also that Induced Bends (which are usually bought-in fittings) are best treated as Elbows in PDMS for MTO purposes.

    Bends need to be separately considered because they behave in manufacturing quite different to elbows. That's why two particular types make a lot of sense!

    I agree that in terms of 3D-mathematics there isn't a difference between both.

    There is a diffrence on drawing part of Isometric as well....
    Elbo will have 2 weld points where as bends wont show and welds.

    If i am not worng those things are controlled by the Skey used in the Detref of the comp.
