i have MDS project and also license , i also have my AZB project and want to have MDS in this project if following steps are enough to do?
1- create team MDS IN project AZB
1- copy foreign all db's from project MDS to team AZB
2- copy foreign MASTER/MSDICT and MASTER/SUPPCATA to team master in prj AZB
3-create a MDB for each piping design user and add all above db's to them
you also need to create a DESI DB for MDS team, and this also needs to be included in the MDB.
included the users to the MDS team, start your session in MDS, modify the Evars files appropriately

hope you will be using an Evars Bat file for AZB Project to open it in PDMS, you need to point this Evars file in your MDS bat file
for Example like: call "C:\AVEVA\Plant\PDMS12.0.SP6\evars12.sp6" "%pdms_installed_dir%"
Sketch:
Step 1: Copy [COLOR=#333333]foreign all db's from project MDS to team AZB (including all type DESI (for template) CATA (catalogue) PADD, DICT , PROP) and included them in your MDB
Step 2: Create one or more DESI DB(your design MDS database)
Step 3: Copy All file in MDSDFLTS to your AZBDFLTS
Step 4: Goto paragon to setup the MDS default (MDS Active control, MDS Ancillary Default, MDS Structure Default ...)
Step 5: Check all MDS Template SCTN Spref to ensure they meet your Structure CATA.
Step 6: In Design Module you can create some MDS Zone and set their purpose to "SUPP" , Using some auto naming files in ...DFLTS. Setup the MDS Default ex: pipe clearance, max pipe slope ...
Step 7: In Draft Module: Setup the ADP Defaut first. After that You have to create or using some MDS Drawings template (DRTMLB) for drafting
Dear Thang i made the steps you mentioned and now the design can enter MDS support mode but i dont know why no support could be created?? when i select any support type system prooceed to point which show form with buttom "CREATE SUPPORT DATUM" and when i push a small message appears bottom left corner which mention waiting curser select pipe "IDENTIFY TUBE" but when i click to each tube side in each piping system show no response !!!!
1) Catalogue for STEEL is a difference thing with MDS. So when you copy MDS DBs to your project, you should to check all SCTN in your MDS Template (SITE /MDS/TEMPLATES; /MDS/SPECIALS...) using DICE check or some collect macros.
2) You should to take some snap-shots for our understand.
As my experience, in this case i will check the MDS Active Control first to ensure they already active or not.
After that check the MDS Ancillary Default (To pay special attention to Pipe Spec Meterial Code & Prop - MDS Ancillary Material (ensure your pipe spec have the same code with MDS) & Active/Shop Flag)
Next step, check the MDS Structure Default (To pay special attention to Framework Selections/ Restrictions this mudules will identify what ancillaries will allowed or not allowed for this frames)
Finally, check your pipe attribute in design module, carefully with some variable like: ISPEC (ex: you have to using pipe shoe / not using u-bolt for insulation pipe...) or temperature of bran etc...
