    Shrikanth,

I feel you are in starting stage on PDMS, You can not find the site in the project folder. Please read the manuals. So you can get the information how PDMS stores the data.

    Thanks,
    Srinivas

    Hi,
I was reading the above information and have a question
When i output the spec file on the longer lines the text is cut with a $ sign and passed on to the next line.
Is it possible to avoit that?
if I remove all the $ signs and input the file will there be any problems with the system to accept it?

    Thanks,

    Stefan

I think that the $ sign was for making the file 'readable' so that would cut it off at 80 characters. Now I think it should not be a problem now but I have not tried it out. The longest PDMS line can read in is 256 characters and then it will stop reading the line.

    Hth,

we are are using 11.6 and we still have that problem.

Stefan, you can remove the dollar and realign before running it in. it works this way.

There is an option to not have it "wrap" things onto a new line.  I forget what the command is.  I will get back to you in the morning.
