my spec is not appeard in design.............

hi,
  all...i am new to specon .......i prepared a new spec by taking a already exist spec and modified it n added that spec to specon by using the following command  $m /d:\temp\sample.txt   now,my spec appeard in specon as well as in paragon  but it is not appeard in design to route a pipe, can u guide me plzz.........otherwise my boss kill me................:cry_smile:

Did you include the text line
TEXT 'PIPING'
in your input?

If not go to the Spec in specon and create a text with the stex 'PIPING'

      but i am already included text as follows:

      text '300 psi specification'
      still it is not appeard in design............

Use the RATING header for  300 psi

The TEXT entry has a defined purpose in the Spec Input

It MUST contain one of the following STEXts to be understood by the design module
'PIPING'     Piping specification
'TRAY'       Cable Tray Specification
'BOLTING'   Bolting Spcification
'INSUL'       Insulation Specification
'TRACE'      Tracing Specification

Any other entry will not be recognised and will not appear in Design

ya i changed the text to piping n deleted the previous spec n again added now it appeard in design thanks for ur guidence......

I'm sorry if my question seem to be not professional enough. But can you explain clearly where we need to input 'PINGPING' or other text to function well.

Goto paragon module. Goto to the spec. Q purpose. And change purpose to 'PIPE' for piping 'NOZZ' for nozzle spec 'STL' for steel spec and so on.
