    Component name can be any alphanumeric combination, if you like you can derive the name from catref size eg */AAEA200:250 etc, if you like you can call it /*ELBOW45:250 and so on. */ is a default representing the spec name.

    I hope I understood your question.

    Maximum 4 alpha characters ( no numbers)  eg FLAN  ELBW

    if this is not enough you can use TEXT in the STYP column instead.

    eg TEXT  'EL90'
        TEXT 'PSV-1234A'

    + sign is used as ditto....i.e if u wanna use value of the previous item witout typing or copying the whole string...you can use + sign as ditto.....e.g.

    */ASEC2:250   250   ELBN    /ASEC200  /ASEC200-D  =0  =0
    */ASEC2:350   350    +       /ASEC211  /ASEC200-D  =0  =0
    */ASEC2:450   450    +      /ASEC244  /ASEC200-D  =0  =0

    Now I believe in ur case you have used the ditto (+) sign in the first row and that is logically not allowed.....ditto sign should always go under an existing value ...

    Hope this helps...
