in design you do not worry your self with selecting pipe schedule as this aspect is already taken care of in the spec. when creating specification eg. 150# rating spec may contain different schedules of pipe for different sizes. as belw:
N.B SCH
100 40
200 30
350 20 etc.
each size entry has a dtext that describes the schedule and for particular size all piping components have same schedule with the tube.
